Literature

I’ve recently revised and published a short book on my novice year as an oarsman at UCLA, and I’d like to spread the word! It is available on lulu.com, and all you need to do in order to see the listing is follow the link provided below. The book is structured in chronological fashion, and begins with my arrival at UCLA in the Fall of 2001. Through a series of what I felt to be illustrative vignettes (well, mostly just funny stories), Getting My Feet Wet seeks to explain what I found so instantly captivating about the sport of rowing, as well as the important role that the experience can play in the development of young men and women. In addition to the text, I have supplied it with a series of illustrations.

There are two different versions available. One is a perfect bound paperback edition, and the other is a downloadable option.

Please check it out!

Here’s what people are saying about Getting My Feet Wet:

A very engaging, heartfelt read. My only disappointment was that the story ended leaving me wanting ‘more.’
-Jay

When something I read can make me literally react – physically smile, laugh out loud, comment to myself, make me cry, etc. – it is a winner! Really terrific! I am so glad I got to read it and hope there is more to come.
